Hi Aaron, thank you so much for this informative video. I’ve had trouble following some of the other videos on this topic bit on yours I was able to follow along easily. Thanks again, God Bless

Great time listening to your string replacement. Mathews and a San Diego bow shop said the lower cable goes on the outside cable.

I'm struggling with this....all pictures look like the lower cable goes on the outside but this clearly says the opposite

Is it normal that after installing new strings and cables to find that your peak draw weight might have dropped 4/5 pounds, and is the correction twisting the cables each cable the same amount to get that draw weight back ?
@eddieb91103 ай бұрын
Who made the bow press and draw bar you use in these videos? Are they custom built?

So my first go around with installing my new strings on my Phase 4 33 didn't go too well, that's because I did not follow specific procedures, needless to say I spoke to Aaron over the phone, had another go at it with a new set and everything ended up spot on, had to adjust one cable to get my cam timing proper, but once all was said and done, Peak weight was exactly 65.3, Spot on, axle to axle was 33, brace height was 6.5, my draw length was exactly 29, everything to spec the way it should be, so do yourself a favor and watch this video 250 times lol and follow specifically when he speaks on the yoke twists and The cable twists ...

What model press is that? And what press models do you recommend for a Lift 33?

Hello Anthony, we have our Ghost XV Camo and in High Octane, we have Winter Camo, Tactical Camo, Woodland Camo, Forest Camo, Camo, and Autumn. Some other solid color options that are great for hunting strings are Buckskin, Gunmetal, Kiwi, and OD Green. Each of those colors are great serving options as well! If you'd like to take a look at some of these string colors on bows, check out our Color Galley here: gasbowstrings.com/the-color-gallery/

Is the cable routing on the rollers at 12 minute mark correct, and is that the same on the phase 4 29? I am seeing discrepancy on this as I install my new GAS string.

Hello. If you could email us at info@gasbowstrings.com, we will get a string tech to help you out with your strings and answer any questions you may have.
@user-nx8vp5sy5d4 ай бұрын
makes sense now why sometimes your strings seem to suck, maybe you should tape the part that goes through to puk to stop it losing twists, paperclip will only prevent the cable twist from coming out, not the puk end

Was wondering the same. The press looks like an ATC Spikepress with Mathews blade pins. It looks very efficient!

It's called a press, and it's not even close to worth it for a guy at home. That's for guys pressing bows every day, multiple times a day.
@jasonerickson9475 ай бұрын
@WolfinWolvesClothing713. "Worth it" is a relative term, depends on your cash situation 😊
