Nicely done. I get my Model 3 at the end of May and will occasionally need to leverage PlugShare. Thanks.

Great video! Thanks. I'm a new Tesla owner. Model S. I've used the supercharger one time, and I have a home charger. All the info you provided here really helps. I'd love to see a video on the stand alone subject of charger etiquette. I never want to be "that guy." LOL!

Finally someone is addressing alternative charging other than I Tesla Supercharger. Ive always wondered why Tesla owners negate other EV charging infrastructure. I love Plugshare and think its a great app when traveling outside the realm of a Tesla Supercharger. You're absolutely right...many of them are free. They may not charge as fast as a supercharger, but its still an EV charging system thats in place. Well done and present. Enjoyed your video.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful reply David! Agree...there are SO many other options!

people negate it because its worthless....where are you going to be other than at a hotel sleeping over night that L2 charging is ever going to make any difference maybe for a volt or 50 mile PHEV but for a tesla its comical

They are most the time 6kw chargers Which super slow but if you’re not in a hurry it’s good it’s Free

All the free ones we have here are level 1 or 2, which will take you about a day to charge

True. They are not SuperChargers...but they don't need to be. Use them when you are doing something nearby and come back with more charge than you started with...for free. Not too bad even if it's slow.

gee if i was a volt/prius driver i would be irked if a tesla driver took a spot to save a whole quarter of power and get 20 miles that they didnt need

@@Richard-ie1if My view is first come first served. Why would a volt (which has a gas backup) be any more deserving? Should we NOT use chargers because someone "might" come by? By all means, be courteous and yes, I'd gladly move if asked assuming I didn't need the charge to make it to my next destination. Best practice is to "check-in" on the Plugshare app so you can be contacted if needed, or post a note if you want.

@@TeslaIncome because they cannot use L3 chargers at all...because theyre PHEV which actually save emissions and not a silly EV car trying to pocket free money at a free L2 charger instead of charging at home/L3
