Very helpful tip. I still have USB port power banks. But battery life on pixel watch is terrible. So this video does help a lot being a user having to carry the charger cable.

Glad you love my videos 😊 I might get the new Garmin Vivoactive 5 and Venu 3 at some point, but for now I am focusing on Apple, Samsung, and Google/Fitbit. I do everything on this channel myself and buy all the wearables with my own money (I don’t get pre-production units sent to me for free) and my past Garmin videos didn’t get many views. I would really like to cover the new Garmins at some point, but likely not until after Black Friday, or even Christmas, if I do.

I am definitely doing battery life testing, but it will take some time to publish my results as I'm testing multiple wearables at the moment and my current focus is on heart rate accuracy (which includes GPS workouts). Stay tuned 😊

So I've used this for 5 days now. The battery life is a huge improvement over the latest Gen and it does last most the day with AoD (about 16 hours) on. And can get easily over 24 hours out of it usually a 2 x sleep and a day with AoD off and having bed time mode setup. Does depend on your usage of it though. I have lift to wake and AOD off. But use for Gym and messages mainly.

I’m glad my video helped you. I don’t think Google makes a 2m version, unfortunately. You could try to find a 3rd party one, but no guarantees it won’t cause any issues. Also, Fitbit Sense/Sense 2, Versa3/Versa4 cables might work if you can find a longer one of those, but they might not be usb-c and they might not be fully compatible (my OEM Sense 2 charging cable charges my Pixel Watch 2)

you can use a type C to type C adapter to extend the wire using a 2nd cable or type C to type A adapter (you can find it easily)

Love your videos thanks for sharing. Based in the UK my new watch shows FitBit distances in km and I want Imperial miles measurement. I’ve tried all sorts of combinations to change the settings, but continually get an error message, “something went wrong”.

Hi, Yes annoyingly it seems impossible to change the measurement units to miles. I've tried so many variations but always get the error message " An unexpected error occured"! I guess the next action would be to delete the app and reinstall. The whole switch over from an iPhone has been painful and time wasting sadly.

Can you tell us if there are any fitbit chargers that work with the PW2? I think they reversed all the magnets so it doesnt work but would be great to be able to buy fitbit chargers and stands to make this work...its a bigger eco system

I just tried my Fitbit Sense 2 charging cable and it does charge the pixel watch 2! So Sense, Sense 2, Versa 3, Versa 4 compatible chargers might work (I’d be wary of stands because the pixel watch weighs more), and Google/Fitbit don’t say it’s compatible, so no guarantees they all will be.

Turn off LTE when not using it for starters. I have the screen time out quickly as well. It seems to charge relatively fast but considering the size of the battery im not sure how much more canned power it'll be able to take. Someday they'll find some way to use safe micro nuclear dots for multiple year power and no charging. Anything is possible in the future with AI working out those complexities

I just charged from 27% to 97% in 43 minutes using my Pixel 7. Hope that helps a little
