How to check Automatic Transmission fluid level on 2000 to 2003 Isuzu Rodeo and 2000 Amigo equipped with GM4L30-E Automatic Transmission
Note: I muted the video during the time I was checking the level to minimize background and Engine Sound, but even if you can't hear it, the Engine was running.

My momma bought her 2003 off the lot brand new. She handed it down to me years ago and I’ve loved it ever since. I won’t give her up! I’ve been trying to learn how to do simple things over the years like this to do by myself instead of taking it to a mechanic. its a gm 4l30e trans. the 3.2l 6vd1 is isuzu's engine

in the mornings I put my car in drive or reverse the car does not move. 2 minutes it will go good all day just in the morning it plays up.? what would that be low transmission oil

I got 160k and pray to get 200k or more. Any thoughts on how to get there? I feel like sport mode may be better for the trans sometimes. I bought it from a Mechanic that had it for 4 years and he actually manually shifted the AUTO transmission. Thoughts?

If you do shift it manually, do stress the motor or trans by going in high Rpms, these transmissions seem to fail a lot so keep on eye on your fluid and everyone you get a fluid too off, not flush, too off, add some Lucas tranny oil fix, it’ll help it last longer, just never do a transmission flush

My Nissan Pathfinder about 10 years ago was briefly having transmission issues and I put a new radiator in it and transmission cooler and it was completely resolved. Do you think I should just add the transmission cooler instead of getting the temperature gauge? And would you believe a Transmissions bought tried to charge me $900 because the transmission line went! I'm just going to buy transmission rated rubber tubing and replace it myself. I guess I'll add 1 quart of Lucas as well. Thoughts?

@@crayfishtv I need to replace the transmission line but I'm not sure of the correct size. I need to figure out the diameter? I think I'm going to use a rubber over steel or copper because it's easier to seal
