How were you able to check the piston height to make sure that no rods are even slightly bent. Did you also use the straight edge for that? Or was there another method of testing to make sure that no rods are even slightly bent? Thank you!

Is this a common problem for Prius? Seems low mileage for blown head gasket? I saw lots of brown on the parts that came off. Was oil change maintenance neglected? Good for owner to stop driving. Thanks for the video.

Today I learned that you don't need an outrageously expensive straight edge to do this job. I thought you needed a "machinist" straight edge.

Low Life, no. not the case. As you know Toyota lasts 300, 400, 450 thousand miles. How long does your Detroit auto last? Even to 100k? Nope. German? Nope. Get ready big bills for repair starting at 60k. You know nothing about Toyota.
