What's up guys!!!!!!! I had to take it back to the basics for those who don't know much about cars. In this vid I am going to be demonstrating how to check your engine's oil level.

What if one side of the dipstick is at the top mark and the other side is higher? I have 2020 mazda 6, it takes 4.8qts but I put in 5 quarts.

I usually wait 5 mins and then recheck. Some engine take a bit for most of the oil to reach the pan

Great video and very informative! I’ve been trying to understand how this dipstick works and all the videos I’ve come across wasn’t really clear to me and I didn’t know what the hell to look at when they show the dipstick. I’ve never checked my oil level because I didn’t think it would be important but now I’m getting scared cause I see the oil symbol appearing on my dashboard and my car just recently died on me. So you know I gotta be prepare. 🙄

Had a bad experience before where they didn't change my oil filter so the new oil got dirty and over filled so i started blowing oil clouds our of my tail pipe!! Fuck firestone! My dip stick has a tip at the end that makes it have like a drip of oil at the end....so I always cant tell....so please...should I make sure oil is on the stick up near the last notch or think the oil is only at the drip at the end....thanks for sharing

I’m gonna give u a short answer lol. Run the engine for a few seconds so that the oil gets circulated throughout the engine. Then check the oil level with the engine off. From one mechanic speaking on another he’s a few cans short of a 6 pack. The obvious is obvious
