Thanks for the tip and the known good waveform. Also on this job (exh cam and cvvt), have you done it using the method without removing the timing cover/chain? Warranty only pays 1.9 on this now and I haven't managed to figure out the method they want us to use. Thanks again.

Thanks, i havent try doing the repair withour removing the cover. I know the warranty pay is terrible but for me i will do the proper repair by removing the timing cover and do it perfectly so that no comeback hahahha

If it jumped a tooth I would assume the overall issue is a tensioner, chain or belt loose or stretched?

Yeah theres a chance its stretched or maybe jumped a tooth, once the tech will do the repair i will try to see and compare the new chain and the old one.
