If you attempt to restore device with itunes, whether you succeed or not your serial number will be displayed on the itunes screen for the duration of the process. usually 20-25 minutes.

I bought an iPad Air last year from my friend. It was 7.0.4 at the time i bought. And her iCloud account was unverified and always asking me to type password. When I checked website, activation lock is on. But I could manage to remove her iCloud without typing her password and signed in with my account. I don't know why i could do that. The problem is Activation lock status is still on even i turned off find my ipad. The ipad is my iCloud account. So, if i turned off find my ipad, the website should say OFF. But always on. Why? My iPad still links to previous account?

Yes. Probably the iPad glitched and you now have your own account but it's still linked yo the previous one. Do not restore or factory reset. That is also how my hacktivated iPhone 4 works.

Get someones simcard (ask them if you can borrow it) then take there simcard and put it in your device. then after when you access your phone take the simcard and put it back to your friends/family member phone. Hope this helped. :D

He was giving an example Both of these phones are his, he was showing it in either scenario to help you guys. If you notice @ 1:43 he took the phone away from camera and enter his password to remove the lock like some one has an icloud account and password but if he has turned the feature off or unchecked it then it is as if there is no lock on it, just like you have screen lock with password or pattern lock but if you disable that feature then screen in not lock.
