Body electrical DTC can be erased by disconnecting negative battery terminal for at least 10seconds and reconnect again. But you need to drive your car without turning ON your ac and headlight for initialization.

Hello thanks for your video i have a 2016 honda civic touring but the method you showed to get the DTC codes it didn't work for my car because i have a message on my dash (keyless access system problem) but i found one broken LF antenna and fixed it the remote all working and reset it but message came back again ...thank you for all your help

Sir did you repair your LF antenna? it’s unrepairable. that should be replaced once broken. that might be the reason why the same problem came back.

To get body electrical dtc using on/off pattern, you need good timing and should be done as fast as possible. just try and try until you perfect the required timing.

Yes been replaced with new one and ive checked and sprayed contact cleaner for every LF antenna i can find behind radio end of center console and 1 in trunk and 1 behind rear bumper and i even checked and sprayed the contacts on both driver and passenger side connectors but message still there thank you for your reply and any help will be appreciated 🫡🫡🙏

Hi! Thanks for sharing! I have a Civic 2017. Since I changed the key fob battery the dashboard turns on and make noises. The remote won’t work and I would have to open with key and restart the car. Since last night the alarm comes on. No DTC codes for me. Please help me!

Sir your case looks you have a problem in your body control module, as per my experience according to your statement but your noise concern might be because your engine battery was already drained which may cause unstable cluster panel. Please check if you have DTC and follow the DTC troubleshooting procedure.

@@generescudero9492 thank you Sir! Of course the dashboard gets on all night long and the alarm too. I disconnected the battery to prevent this. Have an appointment on Monday on a different Honda dealer. Any keyword that might help them to check the BCM? Last time I went they said they didn’t find anything. Thanks again!

If they didn’t find anything, the problem is intermittent. You have to leave your car to them and let your car under observation until they catch the trouble. That happened to me many times and i ended up of replacing a faulty BCM. You may advise them to focus on inputs triggering a problem. For sure they know that very well..

I have question, when you said this is the LF of antenna, on 24:58, you mean the antenna it's the inside the door handle?

yes Sir it’s inside the door panel. there are also LF antenna at the back of you center console and rear bumper for some models.

Sir if you have correct passcode then it’s possible. Passcodes are changing, Scanner software version are also changing for security reason. The best way to resolve your problem is to bring your car to the nearest car dealership of your brand. They can also provide home service if the unit is isn’t drivable.

Whenever there is a fault or any related DTC in the system, auto function will turn back into conventional way to use it. You may check also the settings, maybe somebody change it unintentionally from your audio or your key fob, if not, and if no DTC found in the system, simply reset it manually by removing your negative battery terminal and perform initialization by driving your car with loads off and seat belt on.

Sad to say Sir but it’s not. A modern Autel can do like mk808 but still you need the code for immobilizer password and keyless access.

I have DTC B1142 in my honda Civic 2017 and the passenger window and sunroof don't work do you know something about this?

For your passenger power window, just check voltage presence before the power window motor connector female terminal using a tester while IG ON and passenger window switch pressed up and down. 0 volt means there is an open circuit or loose connection from that line to the switch and up to the MICU “Multiplex Integrated Control Unit” 12 volts means your passenger’s power window motor is faulty. But again, make sure that the connector terminals are tight before concluding a faulty component. This approach to your concern is the simplest way to find the problem. Power window switch is more accessible than the motor connector but will be more technical for you to perform diagnosis.

For your sunroof pre check, lock your car using your remote then press unlock once and then press it again and hold it for at least 3seconds. If both your sunroof and passengers power window not working, check the ground first before getting deeper to positive side of the circuit. I think they are sharing the same body ground.

That’s keyless access malfunction indicator light. First check your remote battery, then check your engine battery including cable terminals. Next, check for any related DTC and follow DTC troubleshooting procedure. You can check body electrical DTC without using scanner. Simply find and watch my video uploads.

Hi,my honda insight having this key warning. And my driver side keyless access not working.But the passengers side and trunk keyless are fine. I checked the fuse and it’s wired that it’s no connection. Any suggestion please?thanks!

First of all, you have to check the DTC. There is another way that you can view body electrical DTCs for 2013 YM and below. i’m going to upload it soon. If there is open circuit or component failure, it is just easy to find using Digital multi-tester by checking the voltage drop while operating your keyless access system. There should be battery voltage reading for a few seconds.
