Just found your channel, I also live in Norway, I would like to get started with beekeeping as well near Reinli, do you have any tips ? :)

Hi 👋 I recommend taking a beekeeping course and starting to collect books about bees. They are unbelievably fascinating creatures. It can be a fickle business to keep them alive through our harsh winters. Lots of luck to you. Beekeeping is very rewarding.

@@SunnyHillHoney Thank you, I have been reading about beekeeping for the last 2 years now, I know all the basis but when looking for a course, it's very hard to find one that could accomodate English speaker (I am not fluent in Norwegian).. Do you have any recommendation when it comes to where you bought all the equipment, boxes etc ? :)

@LemmeSnazsh find your local beekeeper club and ask if they have a member that speak English that would agree to be your mentor. norbi.no/finn-fylkes-og-lokallag/ Equipment ->Www.Honningcentralen.no Good luck 🍀

I'm afraid there won't be 70 kg per hive, gays. A full big box is about 25 kg of honey, so you can count. I wouldn't cut the foundations. You can see, they're building many drone cells very often at empty place. I think you don't need that. Also, building so many foundations takes a lot of honey. I wouldn't put that much. Good luck.
