How to Choose a Breast Pump | Step-by-step guide from a breast pump expert

Hey, I'm looking for advice. I have a weable pump and a manual pump. I am an exclusive pumper because my supply is very low to feed my baby. What pump would be better/ more useful for my situation?

I am 21 weeks PP who now exclusively pumps. I have the Spectra S1 and the Medela Hand Pump. I feel much more comfortable and relaxed with the hand pump (I feel tied down with the Spectra) but I also feel more efficient with extracting milk using the hand pump than the Spectra. My question is, is it OK to utilize a hand pump for exclusively pumping or should I only rely on the hand pump for the occasional pump? Thank you!

I’m a nervous wreck - I got spectra pink and blue the little medela one willow go , and lanosih pump. I hope one works with me 😢

Ok, you’ve got a few to work with! I recommend starting with your spectra, either the pink or blue is fine.

I have 4. My willow go is my main, I use to and from work if I am nursing and pumping at the same time. I have two sets of cups. I like my legendairy milk duette, I use it at work. The lansinoh signature is backup. I use the lansinoh bottles. I have the lansinoh wearable. It leaks a lot.

Are the wearable medela cups a good pair with the Spectra Synergy Gold ? Or should I just get the Cara Cups from Spectra? I have the pump but I want a comfortable hands free experience with my primary pump. Thank you!

@NewLittleLife , could you do a video on reverse cycling? We've been pumping milk at work just fine but our baby isn't drinking it during the day and is getting constipated. She nurses just fine though and bottle feeds with her dad but not the nanny/daycare. 😢

Ok I am down to the wire on ordering my pump, I am a FTM and I am deciding between spectra synergy gold and S1. They are both a minimal up charge and gold is $20 more than S1… any new opinions on these pumps? Considering a wearable like willow or stride later on..

Do you need the portability that the S1 provides or are you ok being tied to a wall? I love both, there’s no wrong choice!

My baby is 3 months old (13 weeks) ... My milk supply is low and am giving formula to my baby since last one month.... So i started pumping but since i started my supply is 20ml to 30ml every time....is it possible to increase my supply by pumping regularly
