Use led bulbs instead of tubelights because incase of 9 watts led bulb consumes 9w only but 40w old tube light consuming 55 to 60 watts and also seiling fans it consumes 85to 90 watts .iam using 150 Ah tubular battery/ 875 va invertor.

Another method also we can calculate.. for example 200AH battery can store 2.4 units theoretically.. 200AHX12V equals 2400W.. considering efficiency of lead acid battery practically it can give output near to 2units.. Meaning 650W loads can run nearly 3 hours.. Decresing or increasing the load may change the backup hours and also the VA of inverter used..By this way we can simply calculate the battery capacity we need based upon load requirements

But in that your supposed to use only half....else battery will get spoiled (deep discharge level, though some will say you can go as low as 25%). For everything there is a checkmate. Ultimately customer should not benefit in any way whatsoever.

Thanks for the explanation. Currently i have attached 2 x 150AH batteries with 1.4KVA inverter. Can I use one battery with the same inverter as one battery is showing 9V after 1 hr of inverter usage and other showing 11 V, was told to replace both batteries and cant run with one battery. As per these formulae I can run with one battery it seems but I need a clarification from your side. Kindly clarify my doubts.
