But how do you know the light therapy device is working or doing what it supposed to? It's hard to tell if it's just coloured bulbs emitting coloured light and that's it...
@MichaelKummer5 ай бұрын
Without the necessary equipment to measure wavelengths etc, you can only go by how you feel after using it.

I like Kineon and have used it a lot. They also happen to have a sale going on right now, making the price very attractive.

Hi which red light therapy device is good for autistic kids,to improve focus, cognition
@MichaelKummerАй бұрын
I don't know if there have been studies done with RLT and autism but if I had to guess, I'd try something like MitoMIND. See michaelkummer.com/red-light-for-brain-health/

What about distance for safety and do you have to wear eye protection ?

The answer to that question depends on various factors, including the type of device you're referring to.

Which one is good for sciatica pain
@MichaelKummer2 ай бұрын
For sciatica pain, look for a red light therapy device that offers both red light (660 nm) and near-infrared light (850 nm). Near-infrared light is particularly effective for addressing deeper tissues like muscles and nerves, which are often involved in sciatica. When choosing a device, make sure it has: • High irradiance: This ensures enough light energy reaches the affected area to promote healing. • Larger coverage area: To target the lower back, hips, or legs, depending on where the sciatica is affecting you. • Adjustable settings: Some devices allow you to switch between red and near-infrared or use both simultaneously. Consistent use (e.g., 10-20 minutes per session, a few times a week) can help reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and support nerve repair. So I'd go with something like the Kineon Move+ Pro.

Could red light therapy help with long covid, especially fatigue?
@MichaelKummer3 ай бұрын
I haven't seen studies suggesting RLT helps with long COVID but it's worth a try.
@MariaWalker-qo3vi26 күн бұрын
I have seen a couple drs on yt talking about recent studies that help. Which is exactly what started me looking - to help my father-in-law with his long covid. ALSO, look into probiotics and enzyme therapies - there ARE recent studies about these treatments helping. The gut microbiome in those with long covid is whacked out. Blessings and relief to you 🙏🤗

What would you recommend for a ruptured disk in a young person and degenerative spine in older adult please?
@MichaelKummer6 ай бұрын
I'm not a doctor but I'm not convinced that those conditions can be reversed with red light therapy alone. But I'd try something like the Kineon Move+ Pro to target the affected tissue rather than a panel.
@-xyz-0126 ай бұрын
@@MichaelKummer yes I don’t expect it to heal these conditions, but to help alleviate the pain associated with it. Thankyou for your recommendation. 🙂

How important is it to know how many joules youre getting per treatment session?
@MichaelKummer3 ай бұрын
Great question! That’s exactly why I mentioned light intensity as an important factor in the video. The number of joules you’re getting is directly related to the intensity of the light, which is measured in irradiance (mW/cm²). For example, if your device has an irradiance of 250 mW/cm², it means you’re receiving 250 milliwatts of energy per square centimeter per second. Over time, this adds up to the total number of joules delivered to your body during the session. So, knowing the irradiance helps you calculate how much energy (joules) you’re getting per session and ensures you’re hitting the optimal dose for whatever you’re targeting-whether it’s skin health, muscle recovery, or deeper tissue healing.
