I've only met ONE person who I've thought "almost perfect" - the imperfection? *He's not Muslim!* 😂 Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I feel like the whole "analysis paralysis" does not relate to me - quite the contrary. I have given absolutely awful men (on Muslim matrimony sites) too many chances. I knew they were not a match from the beginning - my gut knew, but they were insistent so I gave them my time and energy. And honestly, I do not feel any desire to get married or have biological children. The problem is people around me keep pressuring me. "It's half your Deen. You must get married and have children" - but I am aromantic, asexual, I have anger management issues, avoidant personality, and I am very lost in life. I do not logically see how marriage is going to fix my issues. I just want Allah to guide me. Marriage (and all the pressures of it) just seems like it'll make things worse! I wish people in my family would understand. Also I should maybe find a Muslima therapist, idk

We talk to each other too much so we r not satisfied? This is extremely dangerous thinking. It can normalize abuse, whether physical, sexual, verbal, or whatever. By talking to each other, we find out that some things r NOT good or healthy. "Just bc tigers eat meat does NOT mean I have to be dinner." N we need to see the meat-eaters n predators clearly so we can avoid them. Talking to each other is a key part of avoidance: what we don't know can destroy us.

what is the connection between video games and bad habits? it's like the shortcuts we took 20 years ago when a bunch of boomers didn't understand what they were seeing, a bunch of boomers who when they were young in the 70s and 80s were also seen as irresponsible and worthless because of the trends of the time, there's nothing wrong with video games as long as you play one to two hours a day and don't spend all your time on them. @@PureTawhid1707 Of course it exists and like all excesses it is bad, excess of food, excess of speed, excess of power, but the image at the beginning of the video just describes the existence of video games as bad by putting it next to that of cigarettes while smoking is 1000x more harmful to health even if you only smoke a quarter of a cigarette a day! It must be said that in our countries we still have this aging mentality that video games are only bad while in other countries it has become a completely normal medium and present in everyone's life. Which is better between a man who is at home in front of his console and with his family or another who hangs around outside and whose gaze does not stop being carried by pretty girls who pass by him.

@@mozydiaz8296i personally don’t find the problem with the video game itself but the culture that is built around it. i see these men spending at least 3 hrs a day playing games and they barely spend an hour with the Quran, they know the names of 1000 games but barely know the names of Allah, they cuss and swear while playing the game but don’t use their tongue to spread a good word to other people.
