The civic was designed as an economic daily commuter. But what Honda did was transfer race technology to these cars. Civics will need every suspension bushing replaced, a set of decent coilovers, and some wider wheels and tires to be considered “sporty.” With that said, my 88 hatchback was so fun in complete OEM trim…but has been so much more fun with all of the aforementioned upgrades completed. Good video. Where in CT are you? Just moved to the valley. Recently did a kswap into my daily FA1 sedan like driving it around winding roads. Don't need a million HP for the twistys lol. Most people don't realize it and just want the most HP ever smh. Unfortunately the internet has blurred kids minds now a days

I mean having a type r model makes it a sports car to a degree and if you live in Europe buy the new civic type r s grade it’s the trim that set the Nurburgring record for its class by half a second🤌 definitely a sports car it just has economy trims too🫶🏻
