It's not really stupid. The original d15 probably blew, and they upgraded it to that y7 since they made so many of them. And they kept it dual point since the ef is obd0. The y7 is obd2. Less headache with wiring. But you could fix that if you can find a a6 intake manifold, but then you'd have to change the wiring to multiport. You could upgrade that to a z6 intake manifold but then you'd have to upgrade the wiring to obd1. That will include distributor and injectors too if I'm not mistaken

Yeah man gonna have to convert it from DPFI to MPFI. Best way to do it is Buy a custom harness. I recommend MonoTech and will make your life so much easier 🤷🏼♂️ it’s all plug and play have one on my B20v 91 EF Hatch. Have some vids of it on my page. I’ve used it on all 3 motors I’ve swapped in it over the last 2 years 😅

Hola amigo, recuero que tu civic era colo celeste, imagino que lo pintaste!? 😅... Me gustan tus videos. Mi consejo es que no te desesperes el motor que tienes es muy bueno y las fallas son fáciles de arreglar, lo que necesitas es convertirlo ai inyección multipunto, para eso necesitaras comprar computadora y arnes y hacerlo tu mismo pero siempre pidiendo asesoría. Luego de eso le sacaras mas potencia a ese motor. Animo y sigue adelante 🎉
