And +1 on the baby wipes, I just cleaned up a 100% wool Scottish weaved cap from the thrift store. Inside was dirty and smelled of old man, I know yuck. But it had potential and now it's fresh clean and looking great

I have a beautiful 100% wool tweed flat hat. What I understand is that you don't want to use a hat brush on tweed. Is this true?

I don't have one of yours, but I have 2 caps. One is a wool/poly winter 8 panel. I also have a light weight fiddler cap. Both are developing sweat lines and discoloration around edges. Local dry cleaners won't touch either of them.

meh baby wipe method doesnt do anything. Just hand wash it, hang dry. You get the best results

I hate my friends they laughed at me for wearing a flatcap and they took it from me and threw on the ground. It cost 70 pounds and they knew it. Know there's mud on it and i can't clean it
