Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't silicone grease bad for metal moving parts? Wouldn't non silicone grease be better like Superlube grease?

Silicone grease is recommended!

yeah superlube 21030 is the go-to. in fact there's even no need for silicone oil.

Silicone oil is good for seals and gaskets, because it soaks in and swells them. A lot of people disregard seals and gaskets because they are cheap and easy to replace. Also, it's only Really bad for Silicone based products because it'll eat away at them, just like the grease will. Most airsoft seals and rubbers aren't silicone based.
