I love Koh..I bought it and didn't expect it to work as well as the claims but how wrong I was to doubt it. My 12 year old oven is like brand new once more and no nasty skin reactions or toxic cough inducing fumes. So quick and easy.

Does clean and is good so far, BUT , these diamond pads will and do scratch glass , wife used today really pleased until she turned the oven light on you can see the surface is micro scratched , to prove the point with the wife I got a clean piece of glass sprayed the glass and pad gave a gentle clean , wiped with microfibre cloth and you can see the micro scratches starting to develop , I’m sure once you get oven clean and clean regular with KOH that will be all you need , use with caution , will carry on using KOH but the pads are heading for the bin I’m afraid 😟

Oh no… Koh should warning people that the pads are abrasive & can scratch surfaces & damage them.

I've just got my first delivery and trying to clean my oven. I'm not convinced that the magic sponge won't damage the oven surfaces or glass front because it really feels quite abrasive. It's all very well saying do a spot test first but on such a small area, you can't really tell whether the surface has changed/become damaged.

Every video I've watched demonstrating cleaning the oven, has only been on the glass door, nobody has done the inside and grills, where it does not work!

I've just done as you instructed and my oven is now all scratched up and the box says clearly its alkali and you should wear gloves. My hands are all dry now. Bad advise!!!

What type of cloth did you use?? It would be the abrasive in the cloth as the cleaner has no abrasive in it whatsoever?

No it definitely didn't scratch my glass. I'ts pure liquid. There's no abrasive in it whatsoever.

Those abrasive pads are death to glass according to my husband. He won't let me use them on our $7000 oven. I haven't found koh to be good on anything honestly. Better using bicarb and vinegar.

I disagree with Koh, you literally need "elbow action" to get stuck into deep cleaning. Koh might be good for light to mild cleaning. However have found deeper cleaning it doesn't do a great job at all.

I think this product is a scam. Not one item in my consignment detailed the ingredients in the product. This is law in the UK. How can it be supported as Eco/ Vegan friendly without any evidence of its ingredients. Is it safe for food prep surfaces... who knows. A scam in my opinion probably an alkaline water.

The packaging details that the Universal Solution is a solution of distilled water and mineral salts, and that is it. Due to this, it is eco-friendly, vegan and cruelty-free.
