Awesome!Some times you just have to get past then ugly to find culinary delight.If I ever catch a snakehead I think I will try some creole magic and blacken it!Hopefully more people try them and can put a dent in an invasive species.Love it!

You sure do lose a lot of the edible meat when you slice off the skin. Looks like you cut off as much fish as you left. Wow how did it cook in less than a minute?
@Rodneyrogersoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Ann Alejandro didn’t do this to save meat. Wanted to try it for the first time. Did the Fillet to avoid bones.

In China, Snakehead fish is not cheap. People eat it very common like Salmon.

I see a spot at the start of the tail. Snakehead don't have that as commonly (but they do have it). Male bowfin also have that spot. You wouldn't have any pictures of that fish when it was alive do you?
@Rodneyrogersoutdoors7 жыл бұрын
Tim D you are incorrect ... all bullseye snakehead have the spot. There are several species.

They were actually introduced by FWC in 1985.. .. to control other cichlids … so your actually only allowed to keep two.
