I have a plastic comb and another one of wood. I wash them in the sink with liquid soap and a detail brush (aka an old toothbrush), rinse them with cold water and let them air dry.

When you wash your hair, use your comb/brush before rinsing. Extra clean scalp, extra clean comb/brush.

Another thing is baking soda if you put a good amount in and mix with warm water you can do the same steps except if you let it sit for 15 minutes the hair will fall off

White vinegar and water 50/50 is a great way to clean wooden boar bristle brushes, I use a spray bottle then massage it in, leave it for a min then rinse well and air dry ✨️

For combs- we soak them in a mix of liquid soap and water. Then scrub with old toothbrush (getting the max use out of it) and rinse. We don't have enough hair to warrant a brush lmao

Dang I needed this. For my combs I add some shampoo and scrub them with the hair brush. Then I would soak my brushes in the sink. However there's still some gunk at the base of the bristles. 😓

I clean my hairbrush with shampoo while im in the shower. Turn the bristles down on a towel to dry.

My go to? For any non-wood brushes/combs, soak them in a non-metal glass/ceramic container. The hair dissolves like a charm🎉
