I use my air compressor and nozzle to blast mine clean and dry works fine

I've cleaned out the robot, but it still stops on its own with the DOCK and SPOT lights blinking. Which is an error message that means the main brush has a problem. I've cleaned it, but it's still stopping and blinking. What should I do?

Today when I pulled my dust bin out to clean, a spring (about 1.5" long) rolled out. I have no idea where it came from. Now the dust bin doesn't want to stay "inserted" into the robot. Any type of bump into the wall or furniture, the machine stops with the error code that the dust bin isn't inserted. Any ideas?

is there a flat strip of rubber anywhere on the bottom of this shark? Mine got stuck under a chair and later, I found a gray strip of rubber about 6 inches long and 1/2 inch wide.

Here's one for ya. I started having main brush roller issues after owning this robot for about 1yr and 3 months. In the end, by hooking a multimeter to the contacts on the main brush roller motor and watching the robot clean, it would receive a consistant 9V when it was working. However when the robot goes over a section of very low pile carpet (like a door mat), the voltages would fluctuate wildly then eventually go to 0 and roller would stop altogether. I've already replaced the main roller motor and that didn't work. Since the supplied voltage to the motor drops to 0V, i'm guessing it's the main motherboard? There's really no forums or anywhere to discuss problems like this so i'm posting it here. Considering parting the robot out altogether since I called Shark and all they could offer was a discount on a new one lmao. Help anyone?

The dustbin/dust cup in my robot won’t come out. Looks like if everything is ok and well placed but it’s stuck and there’s no way it will come out. Any help here?? Please and thanks in advance

The cylinder brush that came with my Shark got separated at the end and has been working but making an annoying rattling ever since. I think it's time to replace them. Also has anybody else had to deal with cleaning animal scat?

It just pulls straight out including the yellow housing. Then the wheel itself can be removed from the housing as well.

My son left a balloon downstairs which deflated during the day and my robot got the string wrapped around one of the wheels. We haven't been able to find any video on how to take it apart and get the string out? Can anyone help?

I have a lot of pet hair getting caught in the wheel where the brush “square” attaches. Any suggestions for getting rid of the pet hair that get tangled in that wheel?

I have the same issue. I started to take the whole thing apart but stopped since it seemed very involved. I used a needle and tweezers to clean it out. Took some time to get it all out. I'm still searching for a better way, too.

This is by far the biggest flaw with this vacuum. Nobody can answer how to maintain this particular piece effectively. I clean it after every use, and my vacuum has completely seized up due to too much hair getting stuck in there. I would not recommend this vacuum for this reason alone.

Any idea on how to replace the side wheels or where to find them...my one wheel keeps getting stuck then the robot can't turn. I've tried wd40 to no avail and it doesn't seem that shark sells the side wheels

Im not sure, it may have hair tangles around the axel, whatever you do be ultra careful, especially if they dont sell replacements

@@VacuumWars alas I called shark and thankfully I'm still under warranty their shipping me a new unit apparently they don't sell parts for the side wheels bc they "never" are an issue 🙄

If you're still having issues -- my dad and I took the side wheel apart down to the gears. We discovered the gears themselves were blocked by wads of hair and fur. Shark doesn't seem to have protected the gears very well.

My brushroll quit spinning recently. I cleaned everything to insure there wasn't any hair impeding the brushroll's movement but still no luck. I tried turning it off for awhile to kinda reset it, but to no avail. Any thoughts?

I see hair around the yellow square where the brush connects and I think that's the problem. Mine works for a little bit and then stops and gives the error message that something is blocking the brush, but there's nothing there because it's already been cleaned. I can't get the hair stuck around the little square to come out though.
