Hey, my shark vacuum starts, goes and then stops immediately. It gives me a red flashing exclamation point, red clean, blue dock and blue max flashing. Any idea what this could be?

Hi! Smitty! I have an RV750R01US that is flashing red clean and flashing exclamation point. I’ve cleaned the sensors, cleaned the filter, made sure there wasn’t hair stuck, and it’s still evading me. What am I doing wrong?

My dock light (blue) and clean light (red) flash simultaneously when I hit the “clean” button on my remote. I clean the sensors and powered it off for five seconds. Turned it back on and this still occurs. Do you have any other ideas of what the issue could be?

I have a RV750 (UL E491422) but the bottom cover is a single piece which surrounds both drive wheels. It's currently not working (spot & dock flash together) likely because some cat hair has gotten tangled around the brush motor. I've tried to take it apart, but even with the screws removed the bottom cover won't budge. Any suggestions on what I might be missing? Maybe they glued it together?

My shark 750 model robot runs @3 ' then stops with 2 flashing lights, 1 on the clean button, and 1 just left above the clean button. Please help. 3 days before this happened, it was making a loud noise for @ 2 -4 minutes then the noise went away.

I have the ion rv750, turned a year old at Christmas, two days later I turned it on, it ran for a minute and then the clean and the exclamation started flashing. I’ve cleaned everything, taken everything apart, checked wheels, checked for things stuck, it’s charged, turned it off, cleaned the sensors. I’ve tried everything basically I can think of and it still just runs for a minute and then those two lights flash red. Lost cause? Just wanted to make sure before I ordered a different one.

I’m having the same problem with mine and I’ve cleaned everything and it still won’t work. Did you ever get yours to work?

I was able to fix it. On mine there is a small rubber piece over a ball bearing on the end of the brush, and the rubber piece was wearing thin and causing the brush to get stuck. I removed the rubber piece and replaced it with a small thin circular magnet that fit in the area perfectly. I also used some DW40 on the other end of the brush that spins. It is working perfectly now.

I have the 750. It will clean for a couple minutes then just stop and the dock and spot lights flash blue. I check and there is nothing stuck anywhere. Even put all new brushes on and new filters. Any idea why?

Brand new Shark ion with docking station trash container. Shark replaced it as the Blue light and Red light and wif lights were flashing. They went though a checklist and said keep it we will sned you a new one. Like I said, never used and would not boot up. COuld it be the motehr board??? can I fix it?? Do you buy them??? Thanks

Could be a motherboard issue could be a battery issue could be a connection anywhere if she’ll like there’s so many different things that could be I do buy them but generally I don’t spend a lot on him because I don’t know the issue and what parts are salvageable

Ok, mine is saying bumper is obstructed however it moves freely. But the ball and castor is so bound with dog hair and grit the wheel doesn’t spin easily the castor is ok but the wheel is gummed up. How do I pop out the wheel and castor assembly to clean it? I will be cleaning the sensors as recommended too

Smitty, I do not know if you still look at comments on this but... My RV750 is giving the error "Something Interrupted the Robot's Cleaning, Please Check Underneath your robot to clear obstruction." I have cleaned it thoroughly but will not run but a min or so. Any Ideas?

Hey how’s it going I try my best to read most the comments don’t always get to them. This issue can be a few things but what I’ve seen a lot of times is a broken brush motor gear. Spin the brush by hand back and forth and see if you can feel it stop or hang up. Also can be the motor overloading. Then sometimes this error is a wheel issue but not often.

FOUND SOLUTION!! Read below Ok I have a RV750 and I looked everywhere for a solution to seems like the most common problem. Cleaning light turns red and red exclamation flashing.. telling me to remove blockage. I was about to give up after taking it apart and putting it back together. Lightbulb 💡 in my head turned on and it actually fixed the problem!!! Ok so what you do is take the dust bin off, inside you can see a plastic screen with 2 small screws take that off now get a shop vac or a house vacuum with an extension tool now put it in side the hole you see after removing the plastic screen, you will hear the motor running inside, it’s the vacuum your using suctioning out any dirt or trash inside. Did that a few times and believe me when I tell you it worked!!! I was going crazy thinking of everything and looking all over the Internet. Let me knowing it works for you!!! Saved me from buying another one 😓

Hi, what would you recommend to do if the main roller brush does not turn in the belt that drives it is good?

Does it make a noise when running? The bearing at end of brush roller could be bad or the housing of the motor could have melted making the belt slip .

Smitty - I've watched several of your KZbin videos, and they are great! My problem is unusual; it is not a mechanical fix. A 16 x 20 picture dropped onto our RV750n and struck it right on the CLEAN button. Now that button is lit, but the Shark won't do anything. So, I think what I need is the top case for it. I haven't seen this addressed in any of your videos. Can you help?

Easy way to check is to take the robot apart like I do in other videos once the top case is off see if you can remove the buttons on the inside of the lid then see if the light is still lit up after words. I might have a case I can sell you

Clean, dock and red error coming on. I havea shark robot. It tries to engage, goes a little bit then this happens. Brushes, sensors, clip center, wheels, filter deep cleaned. It sucks out at docking station. Has run once since doing this with really loud grinding noise, goes to same error. It doesn't give a code makes a duna-nuh-nuh noise.

Mine has a red exclamation point flashing along with the dock and max button. Customer service said I may need a new brush roll but the roll is pretty new and clean and my app just says obstruction and even something about the cliff sensors. My robot will only run about a minute before flashing these lights and because my robot is out dated and they no longer make the model they refused to help fix or figure out the problem..

@@SmittysWorld I just took out the filter and the dust bin, cleaned the roller brush ect and made sure it was all empty. I replaced the filter with the extra one in the box and thats it. No chemicals not water or anything other than removing any debris

RV750 Help!! Max light flashing, bumper stuck, when it takes a couple of bumps, it won’t move back away from the body of the shark. Up an down is fine on the bumper but when it gets pressed towards the shark, it stays. Can’t find any help on You Tube! My floors are depending on you!

flashing together? Cliff sensors are reporting an error. Wipe cliff sensors with a clean cloth. Robot cannot start due to an error. Turn off the power switch on the side of the robot, wait five seconds, then turn power back on. Ensure your robot is on a level surface with no obstructions.

If playing in the sensors and fix the issue then it’s a sensor issue or a motherboard issue you can take it apart and see if maybe one wire is better there’s a burnt spot on the motherboard. But if it’s still giving you an error to reset and then everything and clean them then it’s probably gonna be a bigger issue.
