Depends on what you are trying to achieve but I know a lot of people recommend Venetian Shoe Cream (VSC) to fill in the scuffs and get a subtle shine. I like tanner's blend for conditioning.

Any reason to use dish detergent over saddle soap?

You can use saddle soap! The saddle soap has some conditioner built in so skip the tanner's blend or any other conditioner

Have you tried Saphir's greasy cream that is specifically made for chromexcel? I hear it works wonders.

Hey man, great vid! I was wondering why did you use the tanning blend? Wouldnt the venetian cream suffice? Im asking cause where in located i cant get the tanners blend and can only use venetian but my chromexcel mocs are super dull. Btw, the chromepack soles rule! Have them in some Quoddy mocs that i usually use indoors or at the woods but never the street. Do you use yours in concrete and asphalt? Thanks!

I used the Tanner's Blend because it seems to clean well and it pairs perfectly with CXL leather. I haven't worn these shoes in a bit but I did wear them on the street, concrete and asphalt. The soles get dented by rocks
