I had a syringe with a similar hose around, and used distilled water, and it completely unclogged my nozzles. I had a line on the black that just wouldn't go away, and yellow just completely stopped, but after doing this I'm getting perfect prints again. Thanks for the quick how to, and also thanks Canon for making this easy.

Okay - as a Canadian I had to buy this product for the best price (sorry I couldn't support your link) BUT, boy did this work for me. I followed your video except I had to add an ink flush to get my colours back. I know this is hard on the maintenance cartridge but this video has saved me the cost of a new printer. Where does the ink go during the ink flush..also what's the purtpose of sponge strip that the printhead follows. I print playing cards 2.25 X 3.5. The printhead moves fast to print. With that in mind, what will this do to the printer and printhead over time? Great videos!

I just did this and it helped a little but the colors still could be alot more bold. My color ink is just below half. Do you think I should fill it up to get it more dark? Thank you. The black is perfect but color is lacking.

Do you know what fluid is in the cleaning kit as I used most of it in a single cleaning? Also, how hard do you have to press the syring? When I pressed hard I saw little jets of cleaning fluid spraying out the head. Is this too hard?

Cleaning solution is ionized fluid. As a rule of thumb, I would gently push the fluid into the printhead.

I had to use an Ink Flush, because the Cleaning/Deep Cleaning wouldn't work. The Ink Flush didn't complete and it gave an error that said the maintenance cartridge is almost full. It looks like it will print all colors again but I am not sure for how long. Seems to be a bigger Cannon G3260 issue. From other videos, I am unsure if the maintenance cartridge is the sponge? I am not sure if this part can actually be replaced if that is the issue. Looks like this part can be purchased MC-G02. Going to try that out. Doesn't look available in any store so will try Amazon.

Are used the cleaning kit you suggested on the color cartridge only cause the black was printing fine and now all the colors are coming out but they’re very very light. I did a cleaning and a deep cleaning. Should I do anything else thank you.

I did exactly what you did but for some reason not sure what I did wrong but the color is not bright anymore and I still have horizontal lines on my paper. I printed out a test sheet and the black came out beautiful its just the color ink.

After the cleaning to increase print quality do a printhead cleaning through the maintenance settings.

You have to do it manually.

Turn printer on, listen for movement, then....UNPLUG IT! lift lid and move it gently by hand to center. Good luck.

I've flushed that heads with the product you recommended. I still see no ink going through the tubes. How many times do I have to do cleaning maintenance before my printer begins working again?

Please make sure to run a deep cleaning after you have reinstalled the printhead and new ink. Make sure to follow all the instructions in the video.

Yes use water but make sure it is dry after, or else it will damage the printer.

Yes, so to replace the ink you need to run a nozzle cleaning.
