Great tutorial! I have a Scooter with a GY6 carb and it seems to be running pretty poor at the minute. Your video makes cleaning the carb out look fairly easy. Thanks for helping out a fellow biker in Manchester, UK!

@19ford96 not a problem glad i could help someone! :) another problem with them is dirt in the gas going into the carb because they have a cheap cheap filter in the gas tank. i would but an inline filter going from the tank to the carb. cheer!

Adjust the needle jet turn it all the way in and then out 1 turn and 1/8. If that doesn't work maybe the idle screw needs to be turned in.

at 4:11 you pulled the fuel vacuum diaphragm apart their was a small O ring that was in there that you did not put back in at 10:05 also on the linkage side of the carb there is another cover you missed that's held by 2 screws and has another diaphragm that's under the throttle cover plate held on by 2 bigger phillips screws, just saying. Over all good video

l did not use carb cleaner , just a rag and my fingars and scraped with scewdriver , some jets were too tight hard to unscrew ,put a drop of wd on them first might help, must use right size head of screwdriver, smallr jet or was it bigger, seemed ,, saw no light through it, hole toos m small maybe. small jet leadingt ot a to a rod sticking out in airway seemed , well the jet was clear but tunnel under it not clear for air blowing , used the run off drain rubber tube put it hard pushed on openings of tunnels and blow with mouth and hear if comes out somewhere. carb was full of water and dirt. and sicns since l did not remove choke or diapharm , first tie choke wires to carb or wires will break from bending back and forth often. tank needs to be cleaned and new filter l guess.

I cant watch because I cant stop thinking about why he doesnt go deal with the dogs. Instead we are supposed to listen to them bark and read about how he is sorry. Ugh those dogs want or need something man. UGH why is it that people who have barking dogs never ever seem to be bothered by it at all?!

Other than the annoying dogs, the occasional blurriness, and some times out of frame, this was a good try and a helpful video. It was obvious that you did this video to help people which makes you a pretty damn good person in my opinion. Any negative feedback can only be from douche bags. Thanks for the video.

You didn't show how to set the float level, main reason I watched this video, I set my float so it is spot on parallel with bottom of carb when turned Upside down. I I did this with two different one 50 mL buggies the iPhone and they never would run right or wouldn't run at all

Good video. Nicely explained. The dogs were not so bad but the apology for the dogs was on screen way to long. Could have used better and more abundant lighting. Although I figured it out for myself, a little help explaining how to extract the carb from the engine would have been a nice touch. All in all, great job. Very helpful. Many thanks.
