I just use water from the sink. Unless it's really dirty I don't see any problem with using tap water.

@@chefworldwide No worries! I am happy to help. Personally, I just wipe it because the compressed air blows away the remaining water. But if you're skipping the compressed air, then it is safest to let it dry fully before you plug it back in :)
