Thought my fuel pump died. This video got me back on the road and saved me from being motionless all weekend. Still need a new fuel pump unless u can get the part with the intake screen thats missing. Used a hose clamp and cotten t shirt

Great video but lacks the follow up... Did this work? I have a CBR600RR that can barely reach 5k rpm.... I'd already took the pump apart and cleaned the tank... Tomorrow I'll dismantle the pump to clean the filter....

Great Video! I have found that Berryman B12 Chemtool is a REALLY good strong cleaner for fuel varnish / grime and for the spare rusty fuel pump you could soak it in Lime Away or CLR and it will be shiny new again... :-)

Carburetor cleaner would've worked 100% times better Second choices lacquer thinner or WD-40 but first choice carburetor cleaner good for everything in and out side the bike without causing any damage or rust🤠

You know you can buy new bags yes, genuinely pump last life of the bike, but interesting Kawasaki dealers like you to buy the hole unit, but with investigating and found all you have to do is buy the bags, there online.hope this helps

The screen needed cleaning but the filter was not cleaned and it cannot be cleaned since it is a sealed unit. That would be the large white plastic part. They are expensive at +$125. The filter can be bypassed by drilling a hole in the correct location in the filter housing but an external filter must be installed.
