The pad washer is absolutely phenomenal! You're using one pad per job and cleaning each pass. This adds less than one gram of moisture. The pad is slightly dampened, eliminating dry polishing. Better cooling and cut, it is the best method

the pad washer is a real worthwhile investment for sure, especially if you don't have a compressor.

Definitely. Especially if you're starting. Buy a couple of each and wash.

System 4000 for life! I have a perfectly clean pad every time I add product. It saves time and makes polishing a breeze.

I love my LC4000 pad washer! if it is still too wet for my liking, I wipe the pad with a microfiber until I get the right dampness.

If your washer has a steam function do you recommend using it with the detergent for more in depth cleaning?

If using your polisher inside the Lake Country bucket washer is not your thing, the Detail Guardz washing system is a close second method for cleaning pads. After using their system I'd prefer the System 4000 pad washer for ease of use and less elbow grease. Rags to Riches is the money maker in my honest opinion because it is not harsh on your hands and smells freaking amazing! Although I love citrus based cleaners, R2R is by far the best detergent for your rags and pads and it's not harsh on your lungs.

Tide free and clear washes compound out of pads better then rags to riches in my experience. Also I’ll just soak pads in a bucket with some free and clear while I’m working. Works terrific but I still want a pad washer system.

You can buy a lot of pads for the cost of that pad washer. Also rags to riches also softens your microfiber towels way better than tide free and clear. Also cleaning pads while working with compressed air and P&S Absolute

What if a soft wool pad cannot be removed from the velcro since is one piece all together? I have a SPTA 301 3" mini polisher that arrived with various different pads.. Any input on these...really appreciated. Much blessings 🙌 Ty

Interestingly enough almost 3 years ago I shared the RGR video of cleaning microfiber pads with rags to riches. Amazing how it’s caught on.

I have a bucket of rinseless. You dip the pad in while on your machine, then massage the pad to clean, then spin dry in a separate bucket. I dont see how it could ever delaminate faster than bending the pad and tearing it off the hook and loop, and air is the worst possible thing for foam because it can destroy the foam cells.

I have bucket of rinseless wash and run my pad against a towel soaked in it and spin dry.

🤔6:30 surely you will contaminate insides of your washing-machine with all kinds of residue (abrasive compounds, plastic clear-coat...)? and if you also wash 🚼 stuffs in there - why would you risk it? 🤔 and if you argue there is a rinse cycle: have you ever gotten frothy residue from normal wash detergent at the end? so then how many rinses are enough to wash out any chemicals and do you think washing-machine does enough of them? if not, then these would be additional chemicals (and plastic) embedding into clothes being washed after, and maybe never leaving them... just a thought🤷♂

Any help with reusing a baby diaper? Oh, wait... you've never heard of reusing a diaper. Sorry, didn't mean to disturb you on your way to the tattoo parlor/meth dealer.
