Josh, I’ve never tried this, but I was wondering what your thoughts are on using an extractor for cleaning pads… like a Bissell? Just curious. Thanks for your excellent videos 👍👍

I don't see why it wouldn't work. Going through the logic, I would give it a shot.

Thanks for the great info Josh. I'm only recently subscribed, but I've seen almost all your videos. May I suggest an idea for content (selfishly? 😛) You reviewed the Adam's Pro pressure washer 8 months ago. You may have seen the OG review where Matt craps all over it. A little way down in the video comments an early tester of the unit named Dylan Riggs offered tips to adjust the unit for more accurate test results and greatly improved performance (a set screw in the unloader valve?) He says "I have a 4.0 nozzle getting 1150psi & getting 2.2+ gpm. It runs quieter than the Kranzle, 15 amps and I have the capability to use a 2.5 nozzle and get 2200psi at 1.5." I'd like hear your thoughts on how the unit has held up since you put it in service and to see if that adjustment makes an improvement to your tested psi/gpm...maybe even a how-to of the gravity-feed from a tank. So far I haven't seen ANYTHING on KZbin about it. Worth a shot maybe?

Be careful of that stool! It was recalled by Harbor Freight. El cheapo wheels. Mine bent, I fell on my ass and I tossed it out before the recall. Better stools may be more expensive but much safer.

Thanks for doing this video. Is there any reason why you shouldn’t clean dirty pads in a washing machine? I’ve done that using warm water and a “clear” detergent along with a second rinse cycle. They come out very clean.

Just a random thought… not sure if it would work but maybe using a small bissell extractor with a light towel or old t shirt over the pad might be effective and time efficient as well.

I'm sure it's fine, but I would sandwich them real quick in a microfiber towel and just squeeze/flatten them on a flat surface to push some moisture out. You have to condition the pad again anyways with the compound/polish to resaturate them and then put on your dots after

Josh what do you think about doing this but with the addition of using two buckets, one with a super clean solution and the pad soaking before you get to them and then a second bucket of clean water to do a first rinse quick and then a final rinse with a faucet?
@imjoshv
@imjoshv Жыл бұрын
Yea thats a great idea. The only issue is the pads want to float so the dont soak as much as they should but if you can get them to stay down that would help. Just dont go too heave with the mixture because you dont want it to affect the glue holding on the velcro attachment point
