Thank you. now let me tell you about how I got my first boat. it was long time ago as a young kid I seen it for sale on craigslist. I mowed lawns around my neighborhood for $5 each. bla bla bla lol. have a good one!

I just purchased a used Pontoon, in fact is the same exact model as the in video! I just ran to the Napa auto parts store and picked up both the sprayer and a gallon of the Aluminum cleaner and to my surprise!! The pontoon logs look great!! I just sprayed and let set for a couple of minutes then rinsed and, that's all it took. The aluminum logs look new!! Great product and thanks for the info Gary!!

Napa was out of the gal. sizes but did have the smaller spray bottles of it.. I bought 2.. One for each side.. Did a really good job.. It was the first time cleaning in a while.. We just purchased the pontoon boat a few days ago.. I will say if it is really dirty, take the extra time while using the spray bottle to get it to loosen up.. Too soon after and you will see streaks.. After the first massive clean up it is way easier and clean up is about like he shows in the video here.. Thanks for the tip.. I can confirm, after using this product on my Bennington, it was effortless and algae came off extremely easy. I highly recommend getting a pump sprayer (or paint sprayer - which is what I used) to spray on.

Works very well! Keep in mind if you have a newer pontoon like I do this will eat into the shiny shark hide finish on the pontoons and remove it. So you have to commit if your going to do it. I also used a scotch bright pad and scrubbed. Left a true aluminum finish. I need to re apply sharkhide or a marine clear coat in the spring…

the cleaner work really good, for get the small spray bottle get a garden sprayer, it's a better spray, and it saves the hand muscle.. Don't leave the cleaner on more than 20/30 sec.... you can work the foam in with a light rub with a scotts pad, rinse really good everything. the toons are cleaned, but not safe from the elements, be sure to wax.. a car wash wax is very easy, either way wax them after wash..

no spray bottle on then rise off with hose. If they are really mucky might have to quick rag, rinse, dry, then spray and rinse.

sorry I am not sure. The black paint might have different chemical reaction than directly on aluminum.

Didn't work on mine. Definitely brightens aluminum but doesn't remove algae.

sorry did not work for you. This is the quick easy way. So another way you can do it not as quick is spray white vinegar on paper towels and then stick them all over the algae. Got to leave the wet paper towels on the tubes and let them soak for half a day. You can respray towels with vinegar if they dry out. after a good soaking then scrub hard with coarse scrub brush. Then rinse (this is how people clean fish tanks).

cheap presser wasrher from amazon will peel the algea right off. then use the alum bright.

Pro tip: buy a cheap pump sprayer like you use for insecticide
