Did anyone else notice that he put the bore brush into the bottle of Hoppes ? That is a great way to contaminate the entire bottle but who care they have an endless supply.

I just bought a model 36 no bash, and right below the cylinder on the side where it's stamped S&W there is a screw that looks like the left side is missing. I have googled many model 36s and i see the same screw with the same design. Idk I guess I answered my own question haha but just wanted to ask if that particular screw is normal. Thanks guys

Hey! It’s actually not a screw. It’s made like that to keep the bore aligned and from sliding off when opened. Hope that helps!

Would have been nice to see how you got the side plate off. I got me an old S&W 13-3, plate is on there. I will check some other videos. Don't want to bugger it up.

Use a screwdriver handle to rap the metal grip frame several times until the side plate comes loose. Never try to pry the side plate off.

I keep an expended (already shot and now expired, dead, and inert) shell, bullet, casing with my cleaning supplies to keep track of where I started to keep track of what I've already cleaned.

That revolver should be on your nightstand, not in a safe where you can't get to it quickly if needed.
