Good Video. I just ordered the JXP 10MM. I have quite a few 10mm's all Higher end Makes. Sig. Kimber. Glock. etc. I picked up the HI-Point for my vehicle gun. The 10mm is a potent round as you know with ft lbs. in the 790-800 range. And how could any 10mm aficionado. not jump on this one for $179?? the reviews are pretty good. No HI-Point guns are not pretty lol. but they work. some folks laugh at them. but they will drop you as quick as a $1,400 Kimber. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to make this video for those of us who aren't very familiar with H.P. guns. the takedown kind of reminds me of the BERSA with the fixed barrel. you made this look easy. it's pretty basic but I imagine frustrating lol. again nice video. John J Voorhis RET Army 23 years. shooting 10mm's since 1990. I would also recommend to anyone purchasing this 10mm to buy a spare Magazine. 20 rounds and you're good!!

No clue why some people have such a hard time cleaning them. It’s pretty easy once you do it a few times. Anyways, just picked up this model, TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!! If your on the fence at all, pull the trigger!!!! She’s got an awesome boom of amazing power. And if your in a pinch, it will also shoot 40 s&w. While it does manage the round very well, it has some recoil but nothing that isn’t manageable. This is a heavy firearm. Really that’s my only con. It’s pretty freaking awesome, people talk crap about hi points, but they work, and this model has a better look to it, than the original. It’s a 200$ firearm that operates well. First few mags will probably have a couple jams, going into battery. Then it just runs like a champ. Fireballs baby!!!! Fireballs:)

I thought long and hard about buying a S&W or a Rock Island 10mm, but I can't justify the cost on those. I got my JXP10 the other day at Palmetto State Armory along with 2 boxes of AAC cartridges and 1 box of hollow points for $260. Now I have money for bills and I can play! Thanks very much for this video - I plan to take mine apart to clean and polish the feed ramp. I have a 45 and a 9mm carbine but have never taken those apart. I'll check your other videos for those instructions and will subscribe as well. Have a great week!

I bought a conversion barrel for my Glock 30sf and found I liked shooting 10mm.Some say, however, that shooting a different round in a gun not designed specifically for that particular caliber could possibly cause strain on it,leading damage. And the 30sf being one of my favorite guns.Seeing how expensive 10mm ammo is, I knew I wouldn't be shooting it regularly. Not wanting to spend 5 or 6 hundred dollars on a 10mm firearm, I went with the High Point. It shoots well, but I can't believe how huge and shall we say cumbersome it is.

A number of videos for the JXP 10 show some fairly consistent early hiccups when shot right out of the box. I’m thinking to do a proper Frog Lube metal and polymer treatment (not the grips) and see if that doesn’t smooth things out during break-in.

I have zero intentions on breaking it down this far my method is Brooklyn the mag lock the slide back and run a snake down the boor then go to harbor freight and pick up a assortment package of different sized q tips put a drop or 2 of oil on the cotton swab then proceed to clean up the parts as best as I can making sure I didn’t over due it on the oil and laying it on too thick them I,put a spray or 2 on a microfiber towel of my favorite safari Charlie’s cleaning lubricant and wipe everything that I can get to especially along the metal pieces interior and exterior being careful not to touch anything that could corrode over timekeeping metal or in hi points case pop metal and not to touch it with my bare skin as the oil from our skin will create slight rusting unless you’re into having one of your fingerprints develop into a superficial rusty thumb print visible when you take it out of the case after sitter in your gun cabinet honestly I know it’s better to completely disect it and get to every nook but not always imperative just my .02 happy shooting fellas
