How to clean the wax off your apples!

You omitted the test: after cooling the apple, scrape it with a thin knife. Then let the hot water cool, put in the fridge, and check if you get a layer coating the surface of the water. You dulled the wax. You did not remove much of it. Scrubbing with a coarse cloth towel or paper towel just polishes the wax that was left behind which is most of it.

I didn’t omit anything. This is the way I do it. To each it’s own. You are more than welcome to make your own video and do your own test, though.

if you let the apple dry before wiping them off, you're really only re polishing the apple with the wax. You gotta wipe them immediately.

If you scrub the wax off the apples, wouldn’t you just be rubbing the wax right back into the apple? Like wax doesn’t just come off all the way, you have to be rubbing it right back in. I’m not trying to argue but I think it’s pretty logical to say you’re rubbing the wax right back in

Tiarra Tufts that’s what I was thinking too. She’s softening the wax with the hot water but then just spreading it all over the Apple again with the paper towel. I would want to use a scrub brush or something that is showing that it is actually coming off

I wouldn’t argue we are all entitled to our opinions but the wax is off the apple. I also wipe them again before dipping the apples into the candy mixture

Yes I would order toy story cupcake toppers from amazon. Use the wooden sticks that you can also order on amazon and use a glue gun to glue to toppers onto your apples. If they come on the toothpicks already just take them off of them. Use a neutral color on your apples that would go with all the toppers.

after you do the cleaning method, you wheat 24hour then wip then dip the apples, like today is Monday do the cleaning method then Thursday do l dip the apples

Clean them 2 days before u need to make/dip them. Clean ThursdAy to dip sat. Clean sat to dip Monday... Jus clean them 24 to 48 hrs before

Dawn Ramcharith if you pick them off a tree and they haven't been waxed they'll have bugs in them. But most companies wax all apples to keep the colors and to keep them longer. She's doing a cleaning process for bubble free candy apples......

Scrubing dpes jot make the wax go a way. You have to keep them deep in a hot water and then use a brush and baking soda to scrub the nasty wax away, good luck
