Yes it’s bad when you move the flap! Just clean around it but don’t touch the flap! It’ll mess it up

I have a Lexus 2006 IS250, Check engine light was on and also VSC light was on could not get it to go off for over 4 months My car was slipping at take off, When I'm about air flow sensor and air filter, VSC and check engine light still will not go off, After that I decided to clean the throttle body, I just take off the air flow holes at the Toronto body, You cannot get 2 hands in there so I used a pen to push it in to clean the top of the throttle body If that made sense to you, I cleaned it about 3 or 4 times where I had no dark grease on my rag, Connected it back up when inside turn the engine on, It cranked about 6 times and then finally started on its own Would just One Touch to start if you know what I mean touch start, After that ticket on the test drive around a neighborhood change check engine light and VSC s was still on, Then I stopped about halfway home and did the idle reset, You should be able to find that on KZbin how to do that, Check engine light and VSC was still on, Parked in my garage Turn the car off, I hate to touch start without the break prettle twice, Then I started the car with the break, VSC and check engine light gone, After that I drove around my neighborhood, hard for about 3 miles check engine light VCS light did not come back on 😊😊😊

Hello guys !! Please when driving my IS i usually smells carbon from inside of the car and on stops I notice smoke coming out of my exhaust pipes, please what can I do to stop this . NOTE ; my catalytic converters have been removed

its normal on all is.. i think its a factory fault i guess,, mine only happens whin i hit like 140km

What was the car doing for you to clean them? Also if you move the flap will it mess with the rpm’s?
