Tried it myself on a book I bought that came with a library mark on top. Worked perfectly. As you said, use a coarser grit like I did and it doesn't take as long.

@ma depends on how far down the pages the marker bled. If it's just the surface like a library mark, yes it works great. Just take your time to make sure you only take away the minimum amount.

Good video. Thanks alot. Good tip for the vice and electric sander. Might want to also use a couple small pieces of wood or something between the book and the vice to evenly distribute the pressure and not pinch dents into the pages
