just bought the EQ, definitely made a big difference. my vocal recording was recorded really shitty and boxy so ive been playing with multiple eqs to clean it up. i thought i had it down but then i was like lemme grab devvons eq cuz he knows his stuff. i gotta say it made it so easy and is a HUGE difference. my recording is really clear and bright now lmao. really appreciate all the videos , tips, and help you put out devvon!

Devvon Rosetta EQ is amazing. But I think it would truly be a game changer if there was a screen you could click on to see the actual changes to the frequencies it's making. That way we can see what we hear. Which would be amazing for learning.

Just use a frequency analyzer so you can see the changes that you are making to the EQ spectrum. Make very aggressive changes to see the results more clearly. Use it on one flat sound to better see the changes. Otherwise I agree with you, that would be a fantastic update.

The thing is..how ever your setup is already sounds good the plugin just enhances the sound/vocal your muddy vocal is not the beginner muddy vocal show them how to do these things with just a focusrite interface going into their laptop no mic pre amp no outboard gear

what if i dont like to do shape my vocals with additive and subtractive in the same instance? i.e i usually subtract in my first eq stage. a couple steps down the road ill go with some additive eq'ing. could this plugin be in good use still?

Yes just use one instance for additive then open another rosetta instance for your subtractive like you would do any EQ

Thats one of the things about our plugin. We didnt want you to use your eyes but instead your ears. We have a tooltips feature coming very soon so that if you didnt want to read the manual you can just get an explanation right in the plugin!
