Good to see a woman showing how to clean and you make it look easy! I am a first-time gun owner, and I am doing my research as well so thank you!

Thanks ! Just cleaned my gun for the first time! Thanks to you I knew to look for the pin that helps with the spring when putting back together!!

Great tip with the guide rod and recoil spring install! I’ve seen many a reviewer struggle with this haha, thanks again!

That was the main reason for the video! The struggle was real 😆

@@southcalicarmen I can imagine! 😂 With a P22 on the way, you’ve saved me a lot of hassle!

Nice to see people putting extra care on their gun cleaning I have seen too much dumb gun “action” or opinion on KZbin Watching your video, while it may not be too exciting, at least I got to see great gun TLC Final 2cent comment relates to the muffled audio in the middle of your video Keep up the good work

Great video. Try to clean the barrel from the breach end. Less chance of damaging the muzzle (which can kick bullets off course).

Nice video and thank you. One more thing, in all the videos I've watched on the P22 and I've watched a 100 I've never seen anyone show the rod trick. And that old spring and rod can be replaced with the newer style captured rod and spring that comes on all the new P22Qs. By the way how does your P22 shoot? Is it finicky with ammo?

For the most part it shoots fine. But this last time I went to the range it kept malfunctioning. It would not cycle the round correctly. And it is picky on the Ammo it tends to malfunction more if I buy cheap 22 ammo.

Good video. So much easier to clean with that extra rod in the guide spring! Did you turn safety off at the end?

I take off the safety to dry fire and make sure everything is working properly
