Hi! Your registration label on the front of your machine is easily peeled off if any sticky residue left rub a little oil (baby oil etc) and wipe off also smear some petroleum jelly on the filter grooves and re insert saving difficulties removing/twisting out next time from possible limescale build up! Nice vid!

Hi Toni, love your channel so motivational, your content is great. I wash my machine roughly every month, I use white vinegar and soda crystals as they soften the water an clean it, I also use bi carb i sprinkle it in my rubber seal an the drum an drawers, and use soda crystals in every wash as it's a stain remover and a water softener so no build up in the pipes etc. X

Hi Toni I found if you put down microfiber dish drying mats that it catches the filter water from the washing machine when cleaning it as they are very handy and soak up a lot

A little tip for US housewives. When washing whites, simply add a small dash of Jeval or Domestos (chlorine cleaner suitable for washing laundry). Let it rinse with Water in the washing powder compartment for the main wash. About half a capful from a liquid detergent. This way, there are no deposits in your washing machine and your white laundry will be bright white.

Pps if fabric conditioner not emptying from dispenser in drawer and you've cleaned the syphon area use a plastic cable tie to clear any blockages in the overhead water jet area after drawer removed and as previously suggested clean the jet holes with a toothbrush!

It’s all fine love I just rinse the drawer every time I use it 😂🙈 I’m a bit potty I know 😂 but thanks so much for the tip ❤️ xx

You can buy bicarbonate of soda from the pool shop to clean your machine, much cheaper than the small food grade box your using and you get a kilo of it, but don't use that for cooking. When applying Method spray it on and leave for two minutes before you wipe it off, let the product work. Thanks for sharing.

Hi - great informative video I’ve done as your steps (without the vinegar which I actually forgot to use) and now the washer once finished has a white residue type white coating almost dust like, have I damaged the machine, how can I rectify my error, do you have any advice please? Appreciate in advance
@ToniInterior4 жыл бұрын
It’s ok you’ll just need to run a service wash, or a boil wash on empty, with no cleaner or detergent. This should rectify the issue. 🥰
@leemellin58624 жыл бұрын
Toni Interior thanks for the reply and I’ve done as you instructed and subsequently washed old rags so it’s had 2 washes one service and the other a 30 degree. And there is still white marks on the silver of the drum. That when wiped with water on a cloth momentarily it disappears but then shortly returns. What’s gone wrong for me? Any further advice ? Much appreciated again. 😊

What’s the best washing machine to get for good wash for clothes
@INJURYCOMP5 жыл бұрын
Bottom line. Always leave your washer lid open between washes. The washer drum CANNOT dry if the lid is closed. The washer drum and things you can't readily see will grow mold and/or mildew if the lid is closed. If you have a top-loader, leave the washer lid open in between washes. If you have a front-loader, leave the washer lid open between washes (I don't buy front-loaders for this very reason). Also, why use detergents and fabric softeners that have artificial dyes and artificial fragrances in them? I use dye-free and fragrance-free detergents and softeners. The same principle goes for the dishwasher. The lid should always be left open slightly or you will grow mold and/or mildew in there. The same principle goes for the bathroom. If the door is always closed (and there is no window to allow moisture to dry) the moisture will mold and/or mildew.

I agree but my washer is housed, so the doors can not be left open but I Clean really often and this helps, planning on updating our utility and opening the washer housing unit so the door can be left slightly open 👌🏻

Hi Toni, I've been cleaning my washer, and was just wondering if you had any advice on how to clean the inside of the detergent drawer on a front loading washer, not the bit you can take out, the bit that you can't! I am really having difficulty with it!
@ToniInterior5 жыл бұрын
Morning lovely, thanks for watching. I spray a little bit of method cleaner inside the drawer compartment and leave it to soak, then I use a (get ready for it) 😂🤦🏼♀️ a dogs toothbrush (not one of my pooches toothbrushes lol I find it easier to use a dog toothbrush as they have a longer handle and the brush is smaller so it can get in to all the little hard to reach spots 🙌🏼👌🏻🥰 then I use a micro fibre cloth to clean it out. I hope this helps lovely xxx

Using vinegar AND bicarb is completely pointless. The bicarb neutralises the vinegar, so neither product actually does anything. I'm sure people will argue, but it basic chemistry and an indisputable fact! Use one or the other, or one after the other, but using both together is just a waste of time, resources and money. Incidentally, you may find washing soda more effective then bicarb. It's more caustic than bicarb so better at removing the oils and fats that stick inside to the unseen parts of the machine. It comes in kilo bags from the supermarket, usually less than a couple of pounds so cheaper than bicarb too.
@carylhalfwassen85553 жыл бұрын
Best comment here. The person doing the video has no idea of chemistry but her devotion to cleanliness with scrubbing and rubbing and rinsing thoroughly is effective enough to protect her machine.
