I like that you weren't pushing any product. I've been cleaning my filters with soap and water for 3 decades. I also use a 50/50 mix of isopropyl and mineral oil to treat the clean dry filter. Alcohol thins the oil enough to run through spray nozzle and evaporates away... leaving a thin layer of oil. Shake, mist, install.

I have one of those performance air filters, I got a question for it though. After cleaning and drying, if you spray too much oil on the air filter, will it affect the idling of the motorcycle, like less air will come in?

So just to ask again, because I got 2 opposite answers , #1 spray liberal amount of oil once cleaned, # 2 do not spray very much oil, it’s not a dirt bike filter- that was from an HD technician yesterday when asked, which is it?

Great vid as always. Out of curiosity, do u guys wrk on import/metric bikes? I have to say that there is lil too no vids regarding the imports/metrics. Just an observation.

We do some metric bikes as the opportunity presents. Last year we did a ZX6R and a BMW F850GS. Have some Ducati Scrambler content coming soon.

Not if you clean it regularly. I use the K&N air filter cleaning kit and their oil has a red dye to it. That’s what makes them look red once it absorbs into the white cotton from the filter.
