Thanks for the reminder, I learn the three minutes check at the end of all cleaning from a Landscaper I used for my lawn, he always does an amazing job and then i noticed he make that double check every time before he leave. It is now implemented in the procedures we set for our cleaners. and because of that our company is doing an amazing job thanks to the keen eyes of our cleaners

Thank you so much for this video! I'm new to the vacational rental business and am doing the cleaning myself. These tips are going to be super useful. I'm definitely getting a check list. The first cleaning I ever did was after a 11 night stay and someone new was checking in later. I was in such a rush and panic to get things done that I forgot to clean the microwave! Fortunately, it hadn't been used, but I was worried about it. I agree, the outside needs to be just as tidy as the inside (especially if your home is situated in a not-so-desirable area).

As an owner I just have to say I LOVE this video!! 😁 especially the part about the inspector glasses 🤓!! I tell my workers that all the time. Towels need to be straight, no tags showing, ETC. Only thing I would add is that a swifter is your best friend, and the doors/ windowsills/blinds/fridge etc DO need to be done EVERY time. People look at those things. 🤍 Thank you for a great video

A tip for very high ceiling fans: run it on high speed for a few minutes at the beginning of your routine. It will keep the fan blades cleaner and will dislodge the loose dust on high surfaces.

What about blinds and window sills?
@ThanksForVisiting Жыл бұрын
We do hit those too! Many of our properties have window sills and baseboards that get dusted every time due to the exposed brick at some of our properties!

Very helpful & informative. Quick suggestion..I noticed the refrigerator door opens L to R, usually the fridge door can be switched to open opposite. Would be a better flow, unless someone needed an item in the bathroom, lol. Thank you so much for the education!

How much time do workers get to clean your average bnb ?
@ThanksForVisiting4 ай бұрын
This is really dependent on your property size and its needs! One way to get a decent estimate is to do a cleaning yourself (work left to right, top to bottom) and time it.

So how do you keep your white sheets so white and fresh? I’ve had such a hard time I’ve had my sheets stained so many times I feel like I’m buying new sheets every two weeks. Makeup stains all the time.
@ThanksForVisiting8 ай бұрын
Hey there! I highly recommend having some towels specifically for make-up removal in the bathrooms. You could also include make-up removal wipes. I think the best strategy is to determine what's ruining the bedding (ie- make-up) and how you can help mitigate that issue! Sometimes we go through some sheets and that's okay! But, hopefully putting some steps in place to prevent that would work.
