I've used Denman brushes for 40 years. HOWEVER !!! That video jump at 03.45 says a lot - getting the rubber pad back in is REALLY REALLY difficult especially on smaller brushes. Is there a seperate video with instructions for that? :)

I am so glad I wanted to know how to clean this brush... otherwise I wouldnt have know that it comes apart, mine was full of slightly soapy water. Thanks for the video!

Was amused, watching another channel on how to clean different types of hairbrushes. It classed this as ‘one of those fancy brushes’ and advised we get our butlers to do the job. 😂😂

Is the brush all of you having an issue putting back together the paddle brush?

So funny that in the video the part when you are sliding back in the head into the brush is cut out, even though it’s the most difficult part of taking that brush apart, Lol. They know if people see that part they won’t buy this brush because it is literally impossible to slide it back in. And why do I want to put soapy water inside the brush to make it slide in easier???!! That defeats the purpose of having a clean interior free of soap. I don’t want soap on my hair later. What a terrible design flaw. A brush that you can take apart to clean it but can’t put back in 🤦🏻♀️

@@ashleyatreides the head of my brush doesn’t really slide in with anything. I had to return it.

@@ashleyatreides it didn’t go in even when wet. It was just too tight. I did get my money back though :)

This is why I stopped using my Denman brush. Because of wrestling with the rubber to get it back together. Just not worth it.

Your denman brush will mold inside. the ends open, therefore water will get inside.
@roselynmvm3 жыл бұрын
Water doesn’t get inside because it is so tight in there, to the point that’s super difficult to take the head in and out to clean it. They don’t show it in here, but that’s the main problem with this brush, you can’t take it apart to clean it or take bristles out cause it won’t slide back in again. That’s the only part they conveniently cut out of the video.

After I take mine apart I let it dry overnight before I put it all back together.

@@roselynmvm If it is really tight, mine isn’t, but take some baby powder and lightly dust it on the inside parts that have to slide together. Use a brush so uou don’t have a lot of excess to get on your hair…just enough to make gliding easy. I use powder to get my hands inside the rubber gloves st the kitchen sink. Just sprinkle a little and rub hands together. I keep a travel size container of powder under sink. 🥴

First clean was fine ... second clean was impossible to get the pink part back into the black part, ridiculous!!! Reverting to cornflour to provide some ease of slide.
