During play and after. I use a terry cloth towel and water. After a round I use a brush for the grooves. I find the soap isn't necessary. The grips get the hardest effort. They are like new and no joke 14 years old. It's the oils and sweat from your skin that breaks them down . Also if you have forged irons the way to keep the sweet spot from browning is with a little baking soda. Clean the club head to grip thoroughly, dry thoroughly. They'll look like new forever.

I clean my clubs once a week. Same method. I use a water bucket next to the soap bucket. Clean the heads flip the club and do the grips all with a brush. Dry off and let sit in the air over night.

I use a fingernail brush from a pharmacist. I also use a creme cleaner like "jif" instead of soap and soaking. If you have some really gunked in grooves, try a watchmaker's flathead screwdriver or a dentist's pick to pick out the extremely stubborn mud.

I clean my clubs as I go with a wet microfibre cloth, which really cleans the grooves well. Now do a video about how to look after the GRIPS Michael, which is at least as important ... 😅 🎉
