@cikarang54 жыл бұрын
Simon a far better product to use is Farecla G3 compound, available in a similar sized tube but the finished result will make T cut look like you have used a Brillo pad on it. Unlike normal rubbing compound the abrasive breaks down in use so you effectively are using a finer and finer grade the more you polish it out. Fantastic results
@simonhobbs90974 жыл бұрын
Try rubbing compound first for deep scratches and then move onto T Cut.

Hi Simon, you've hit a niche market on KZbin with your content, I've been trying to repair the appearance of clubs for a while now with some success for my own benefit when buying second hand clubs. Here's a tip for everyone, use car polish on your woods and graphite shafts after cleaning once in a while BLING.....

Hi Love the video.... had similar issues with a Cleveland 688 Driver . bag marks and scratches around the hosel. Tried T-Cut which worked for 90% but the tough ones wouldn't lift out. So I use Autosolvol Chrome Polish, only a very small amount as it is more abrasive, so you need to be gentle. Then T-Cut & Maguires Car Polish after. 99% done! Cheers

I used a spray clear coat on a few clubs I didnt care about to see if it would work. A few light coats without buffing or sanding. It worked. ive got loads of drivers and other clubs to do a Frankenstein on so I might do some light sanding and see what happens next.

Meguires 105 and 205 and a microfiber cloth, the only problem with using any cutting compounds is how thick the paint is, if you use hand methods then you won't get a good as finish as a machine but machine polishing has the danger of burning through the paint. Another product to use on clubs to get the shiney back is Autoglym Super resin polish, it's more of a glaze than a polish but would work.
@stevelegge33074 жыл бұрын
Also try a clay bar, would really make that club head smooth.
