Just got my first CRK period. I chose the large Inkosi tanto blade, mainly because of availability. I’m no newbie in pocket knives, otherwise, but this is one is quite tight. It opens fine, but really tight when closing (requires two hands). Is this normal, or did I get a bad knife? Thanks! ;-}. MM

the other side of my pivot just spins when trying to adjust like thst

You need to use both of the included large Allen keys. What works for me is holding the Allen key on the lock side still while I turn the Allen key on the show side.

Hi Timothy, what would we do if our blade is no longer centered after putting our Inkosi back together?

CRK’s are not fidget toys. Pick up a PM2 if you want an amazing versatile knife that you could also fidget with.

I have the similar 25. It has a free floating stop pin with a flat side that must be facing the pivot or the blade jams, a poor design. He avoided discussing that. I have avoided the Inkosi because of this issue. They don’t discuss it and I don’t feel like being burned by defective design again.

Just got a large inkosi and I love it! Good video. Kinda funny to use a shop towel so you don’t muck up your micro fiber towel. lol! Isn’t that what it’s for? Wiping your knife parts down?

How many people over 30 can hear that super high pitched noise in the first 35 seconds?

I am over 30, and I hear a super high-pitched sound 24/7. Carl Gustaf...the gift that keeps on giving!
@stevek88297 ай бұрын
@@trailbrakeI’m over 70 and had to look up Carl G. It looks like the M72 we used to have. It was too expensive for practice. But, there were plenty other load noises and more in life afterwards. The high pitch had reduced to mild crickets. Hopefully, yours will reduce too.

Anybody know? 1.) Why does the Inkosi and the Sebenza have that small part of the blade that protrudes out a little when the knife is closed, right where the jimping starts ? 2:) Some of the screws like the pivot screw on this Inkosi are huge and bulge out a lot, wouldn´t a flat screw feel/look better?
@esoteric52772 жыл бұрын
I believe that if they'd changed the shape of the head to cover that bit of the tang when the knife is closed, then the head would get in the way of your thumb when opening the knife. Personally, I would love to have a bit more of the tang protruding because that would make it easier to front-flip😅 As for the bulging screws, I think they add character to the knife.

Buy a new screw from CRK. They are only a few dollars.

These people have chosen not to honor existing orders and the price agreed to in those orders by upping their prices AFTER a lower price had already been accepted. They are hiding behind inflation as an excuse, but if the previous prices were unsustainable then they shouldn't have been offered and agreed upon during order placement. There are countless knife makers that don't participate in this type of disgusting behavior. Don't reward this behavior by giving them your business.

Is it because they are using s45 instead of s35 and the price given was for a steel they aren't gonna use anymore?
