Like I was telling Denro. Burnt through the clear coat. Working on fixing that. I never thought I would have gone through 8 coats but I must have been going ham sammich when I was hand sanding ! I’ll fix it. 🤑

Thanks man ! Had a little set back with the sanding but we back in business. Gonna toss some more clear coats on it Thursday and sand and buff back out.

Looks great! Curious what the wet sanding process was between the first and second day?
@leeslife19814 ай бұрын
@@kylec4509 thank you so much !! after the first day of clear dried I used 1000 or 1200 wet to just level sand it. After that I spray another can. Once the 2nd can isn’t dry I used super assilex “dry” then went straight to scratch x with different pads. It’s the same as the headstock video. There are other videos of mine that also tell what I do. Thanks for the comment ! Keep watching and sub !

What did you use for grain filling before the clear coat?
@leeslife198110 күн бұрын
@@Mario-jn5zq I used goodfilla before any color. I use it on the entire guitar. You will see that in earlier videos. It gets really thin and easy to work with. Fills even the tiniest holes. May have to use it a few times but it does good. After the dye I used clear dewaxed shellac on the top.
