Why do I need the usb boot disk? Can't I clone the c: drive while it's running windows? Also, why not use free cloning software like macrium?

@@altzerz Take a hammer to it if you're worried about someone accessing the data that used to be on it, then throw it away. Or, completely wipe it and sell it
