Thank you answered one of my questions. The drywall goes all the way up to the side of the trim pieces (5:53) for the door way and bifold doors. Again this is referring to the closet once more. You guys are the bomb but links somehow to other videos that carry on the story and whole task might be helpful.

Can I ask why the central piece isn't in the center of the frame? It seems off center.
@co-know-proconstructiontips Жыл бұрын
Because typical Framing is 16 on center. So if someone in the future wants to measure from the corner of the wall and then try to find a stud to hang something on. It’ll match the 16 on center original layout. Hope that makes sense

@@co-know-proconstructiontips total sense, thank you! I'm working with metric, not imperial, but can you tell me what 16 on centre is?

To be specific, I'm assuming 16 on-center means that the center of any wall stud should always land on an increment of 16 inches from the end of the wall?

@@gammacurve absolutely 16 on center means all the vertical wood framing members in that wall are placed 16 inches on center. Meaning if you measure from the center of each 2 x 4 stud they’re 16 inches apart from the center of each board in the wall. That’s roughly 14 1/2 in between each 2 x 4. Hope that helps 👍😎
