Thank you for this because I was inside of the Microsoft settings and not the actual computer settings so I don’t know what this setting means when it says power and it says screen and sleep. I don’t understand what that means. Oh that’s talking about the screen that’s not talking about the actual laptop closing yeah I was very confused over here, but thank you for this video.

bro thank you soo much my laptop screen is broken bcs my broken used it in the dark and closed the laptop while one airpod was in it when i used it the screen was broken so when i connect my laptop to monitor and i have to see the broken screen of my laptop now its closed thank you so so much

Is there a way to do this but only when the computer is connected to an external display? My worry is that I’ll leave my computer closed while plugged in in a semi-public space like my work or school and it won’t auto lock.

Yea good point. Never even thought about that. The only solution I would have for that is too unplug when you leave the computer unattended. However, at work I always do the log out key combination Windows key + L to log out of a session.

@@JERIN_RAJ Yes there is a way. In the display arrangement options (press windows button and 'P') you have to select 'second screen only'. Wait a few seconds and your laptop screen should turn off.
