I have a big question that no one has answer to. I am 106 kgs and have flat foot. Although i have started wearing flat feet insoles, single unders hurt my muscles after 200. And, when I try double, i have to jump higher. I want to know if I should be practising double unders or give up till i lose weight. PS: I am not losing weight despite regular workout and healthy meals. It's my sleep that's hurting and resisting weight loss.

forth month into crossfit, started my journey with DU 3 months ago while being 103kg x 1.83m. Today I did 30 DU unbroken, after the daily workout, and now I'm looking forward for 50! There is a LOT that goes into learning DU, but best tip is just to practise practise practise. Buy your own rope, adjust to the correct lenght, and every time you go to the Box spend 10 minutes before or after the WOD only on DU.

Jake: Just my two cents worth...I think that beanieguy needed to work on his rebounding jump, and then smooth single under FIRST. As you saw...when you asked him to do fast single unders...he didn't have that. Also, his wrist-work...versus forearms...needed some help, too.

He’s kicking up towards his bum when he goes for doubles.. he needs to just jump straight up And down like normal singles
